Job description

Cabin Crew Member position for Luxair, focused on safety, customer service, and managing normal or emergency situations in flight. The role includes communication with the flight crew, assisting passengers with special needs, administering first aid, managing in-flight sales, and reporting incidents or operational feedback. The job involves irregular hours, nights and weekends, as well as layovers abroad. The minimum requirements include a high school diploma, a swimming/first aid certificate, fitness for flying, and availability for variable hours, as well as basic office skills. The position requires a good level of English, French, and German (oral & written) and values knowledge of other languages. Initial training and mandatory refreshers must be completed and passed.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of passengers and the flight in normal and emergency conditions
• Ensure communication between cabin and cockpit according to procedures
• Assist special category passengers and provide first aid if necessary
• Manage in-flight sales and apply commercial instructions
• Report incidents, suggestions, and operational feedback

Profile sought

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Swimming/first aid certificate required
• Ability to work with irregular hours and layovers
• Skills in English, French, and German (oral & written)
• Customer orientation, neat presentation, and ability to manage stress
