Job description

The Music Council offers an internship in communication for the promotion and coordination of the Fête de la Musique (June 17-21, 2026) in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The intern will assist the communication manager in collecting and processing information from partners, writing biographies and event descriptions, daily management of the website, support for social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), and following up on meetings. The internship takes place in a mixed team passionate about music and the cultural sector. This internship is aimed at students in communication, cultural management, or public relations who wish to gain practical experience in event and cultural communication. Expected skills include excellent spelling, writing skills, autonomy, proficiency in office tools, and social media management tools; knowledge of Photoshop/Canva and familiarity with the music sector are assets.

Main responsibilities

• Collect and process information from organizing partners
• Write bios, event descriptions, files, and press releases
• Manage and encode content on the website, follow up on modification requests
• Support social media engagement and participate in meeting follow-ups

Profile sought

• Student in communication, cultural management, public relations, or similar
• Excellent spelling and writing skills
• Autonomy, organizational skills, and proficiency in office tools
• Knowledge of social media management tools; Photoshop/Canva is a plus
• A good knowledge of the music sector in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is an asset
