Animator (seasonal job) - Season 2027 - Luxembourg

Job description

Seasonal contract for Animator / Animatrice for the 2027 season offered by Luxair (seasonal contract abroad). The position involves developing and daily animating an activity program for children (various age groups), organizing special events ('Special Day', shows, mini-disco), ensuring the safety of participants, and managing the equipment related to activities. The role requires solid experience in supervising children or educational training, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be able to converse in German and/or French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish or other languages is a plus. The contract is seasonal (minimum duration of two months in July/August, maximum of eight months, contractual period from late March to early November) and involves administrative tasks related to activities.

Main responsibilities

• Design and deliver a daily program of activities for children of different ages
• Animate weekly events: Special Day, Special Night, Kids Show, Dinner for Kids
• Ensure the safety of participating children and manage the equipment related to activities
• Maintain work reports, inventories, and administrative records

Profile sought

• Educational training or solid experience in childcare and supervision
• Animator qualification (BAFA, Brevet A or equivalent) is advantageous
• Proficiency in German and/or French and English orally
