Job description

The city of Bad Kreuznach offers several positions in Berufspraktikum (professional internship) as part of the training to become Erzieher/in (educator) starting on 09.08.2027. Candidates who have passed their exam at Fachschule and obtained permission for the Berufspraktikum can apply. The positions are available in 19 facilities in the city, covering different sizes and educational concepts, with opportunities in the U3, nestgruppen, Ü3 sectors and a few places in Hort. The internship provides qualified support and can also be done part-time. The remuneration is according to TVPöD. The community encourages diversity and the application of people with disabilities or from migrant backgrounds; it specifies the documents to be provided (certificates of qualification, residence/work permits, evaluation of foreign diplomas if necessary).

Main responsibilities

• Complete the Berufspraktikum in a daycare/kindergarten or Hort
• Support the educational daily routine according to the structure's concept (U3, Nestgruppe, Ü3)
• Actively participate in the life of the team and the children
• Benefit from qualified supervision and guidance during the training

• Have passed the exam at Fachschule and be authorized for the Berufspraktikum

• Provide, if applicable, residence/work permit and recognition of foreign diplomas
