Working Student — equality (gender equality) — Worms (part-time student position)

Job description

The city of Worms offers a position as a Werkstudent (student job) within the Stabstelle Gleichstellung, to be filled immediately. The contract is part-time (8–12 hours/week) and lasts for one year, aimed at advanced students (bachelor/master) wishing to engage in local equal opportunities policy. The tasks provide a broad overview of the implementation of municipal equality policy: participation in the development of the local action plan, research, design and evaluation of surveys, organization of participatory formats (workshops), preparation of presentations, and statistical processing of data for internal and external communication. This position is particularly suitable for students in social sciences, political science, communication, social work, or empirical research who wish to gain experience in public administration, social project management, and result communication.

Main responsibilities

• Contribution to the development of the action plan for equality
• Research and support for participatory formats (workshops)
• Design and analysis of surveys, simple statistical processing
• Organization of events, preparation of presentations and materials

Profile sought

• Advanced student (bachelor/master) in social sciences, political science, communication, social work, or similar
• Analytical skills and interest in empirical research
• Knowledge of Office tools; skills in statistical software are a plus
• Writing proficiency and organizational skills
